Things could run quicker if IE was FireFox

Yawn……………………

Internet Explorer has always been a pain my backside, no offence to Microsoft and without getting too technical it just doesn’t support all the standards in web coding it should.

So why are we blogging on about this?

Well things are taking longer than they should be, because we have to test site designs in both IE and firefox, I know there are other browsers out there, but these two are the biggies We’re interested in at the moment.

A site can and it’s design can look fantastic in Firefox, but boot up Internet explorer and it’s a whole different ball game, well I’m sorry to say but we won’t spend hundreds of hours supporting IE, as they (MS) should be spending that time getting it right.

I will say one thing though and that’s Internet Explorer version 7 seems to be a lot more positive, yay they support positions like fixed in this one.

So if you won’t consider changing browsers, then please I beg of you upgrade to Internet Explorer 7.

And for those of you wanting to make a positive move and get a decent browser, I personally love FireFox, and best of all it’s free.

mmmm Free software, perhaps we should list a few, lol

Ok so you don’t like Microsoft Office, or you find it too expensive, if so then consider Open Office it’s FREE and supports all MS file extensions too.

There’s tons of free and open source software, all spy-ware free (be careful to check this out before using anything on your computer). If you have some recommendations then please let me know.

If you contemplating using Microsoft Vista, then perhaps you should take a look at the following links:

Filming

Well as some may know we’re currently filming various groups and commercial organisations for a series of paranormal productions that will stream from one of our networked websites.

Last night we were filming a commercial group called ‘Most Haunted Ghost Tours’ at the Conisbrough Castle, in South Yorkshire, some interesting results near the end involving their founder whom is also a medium.

Other productions have included so far:

Rotherham Ghosts - Red Lion in Pontefract

Freak Nights - Commercial - Location remains private

Most Haunted Ghost Tours - Commercial - Conisbrough Castle

Alfreton paranormal - AeroVenture - Aircraft Museum - Doncaster

If your group is interested in being in one of our productions then please let us know.

We’re hoping to launch the productions around October time of 2007

New Themes

Well there are currently about 250 themes that webmasters can choose from for their own blogs and websites, we’re just working through all these themes now giving them header images, tweaking the designs slightly, to kinda give them a little more of a paranormal/spiritual feel.

Out of the 250 we’ve probably got through about 25, so a long way to go yet lol.

Although Paranormal Times is not official live, people can now sign up for their own site, and in doing so will help us test the system a little more, should they choose.
